Europe 25 years after the great transformation: a Polish perspective
A lecture by Mariusz M. Brymora
Consul General of Poland in Los Angeles
The lecture will open with a short musical program. Violinist Krzysztof Zimowski, Concertmaster of the New Mexico Philharmonic and pianist Pamela Viktoria Pyle, Professor of Collaborative Piano, UNM, will perform pieces by Henryk Wieniawski and Karol Szymanowski.

Mariusz Brymora will also present Krzysztof Zimowski with the Knight's Cross Order of Merit of the Republic of Poland.

Mariusz Brymora is the recipient of Polonusaward for activist of the year awarded by Wietrzne Radio for the most influential people of the Polish community in Chicago (2002) and Golden Link Award awarded by Polish American Association for outstanding service to Polonia (2003), as well as the Bronze Good Citizenship Medal of the National Society of the Sons of the American Revolution (2008).  His publications include 400 Years of Polish Immigrants in America (2008), and a short history titled The Embassy of Poland in Washington DC (2009). He has also supervised the short documentary Polska?Tak!
